Mildmay’s overflowing Artesian well; Rotary Park and Hanging of the Green Christmas parade have placed it on the map as a destination for most visitors.
Be sure to make Brocton your next destination. Surrounded by the beautiful Saugeen and Teeswater Rivers, Brockton which includes Walkerton is one of the greatest fishing destinations in the world. Unique shops, Busker Festivals and weekly farmer’s markets bring people back time and time again. Brockton has become known as a destination where people come to work, play and stay.
Cruising thru Aaran Elderslie it is obvious why this area has become known as a rural paradise. Old order Mennonites and farm gate fruit and vegetable stands compel you to stop and pick-up dinner.
The drive becomes even more scenic as you head thru Durham to the town of Flesherton and Markdale. Rolling country side makes day tripping a must!
Living in the Grey Highlands area is only a short drive to Blue Mountain and Talisman. This is an area where you can literally spend days on back roads while seeing very little traffic.
Home to the majestic Saugeen River, Grey Bruce features some of Ontario’s best, Hiking, Canoeing, Swimming, Cross Country Skiing, and Gardening. As the Saugeen River winds its way through the county it creates several spectacular cliffs, valleys, waterfalls, streams and inland lakes – creating the perfect scenery for any home.
